Justice & Advocacy for the Incarcerated (JAI) Foundation
is a Windsor, Ontario-based nonprofit dedicated to justice advocacy, supporting families affected by incarceration, and strengthening communities.
At the heart of our advocacy is the ongoing fight for individuals incarcerated under Louisiana's historical 10–2 non-unanimous jury convictions, particularly those denied retroactive relief. Through our Louisiana's 10–2 Connection initiative, we bring together incarcerated voices, research, and collaborative advocacy
while also developing youth, family, and community programs in Canada.
Our commitment is not symbolic — it is active. We advocate, support reentry, uplift families, and challenge systems that perpetuate harm. We stand in the gap where voices are silenced and walk with those rebuilding their lives with courage and hope.
