We, the undersigned, stand in solidarity with the individuals and families impacted by Louisiana’s former non-unanimous jury verdict system.

We respectfully call on the Louisiana State Senate to take meaningful action and provide a path toward fair trials for those still incarcerated under these verdicts.

Justice must be fair.
Justice must be equal.
Justice must be applied to all.
